I am a non-binary printmaker-dressmaker, born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in rural northeast Missouri. My research interests include slow making, queer ancestry, and digital overwhelm. I craft arrangements that formally embody a raison de vivre—a gratitude for life’s uncertainty and the meaningful connections between people, their environments, and the things they create. Growing up queer in an art and fashion desert with strained familial relationships, I turned to online software tutorials and screen-printing colorful t-shirts. Designing digitally, transferring those images to print, and then wearing them helped me recognize print and fashion as ways to connect with others.
I earned my BFA in Printmaking and Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2014 and have since worked across 3D scanning, architecture, and sewing industries. My work has been featured in fashion runways, such as the 2019 Local Fashion Link and Kansas City Fashion Week (S/S 23). Recent exhibitions include Beco-se of You at The Waiting Room (MO) and the Printmakers Guild of NY 2024 Showcase (NY). I was awarded the 2025 Print+New Media Residency by the Institute of Electronic Arts at Alfred University and the 50 4th Street Studio Residency by Collar Works x ChaShaMa in Troy, NY. I live and work in Upstate New York, where I co-run a bi-monthly studio critique group.
